Biography

Looking back on how it all started, one can’t help but wonder why Buffalo Theory was started in the first place. Of course every boy in his right mind wants a band of his own. But as the theory grew stronger it became clear that it wasn’t just a band. It was an escape pod, a safe haven for two adolescents without a home of their own. It seems fair to say the band was born sometime around June/July 2003. Not that anyone can remember for sure. It’s plausible the birth of the band was the first time Viktor and Nordan made music together. Or perhaps it started years before that when Viktor lifted his head out of the blurry haze of alcohol and bad dates and proclaimed: “I can see my future, it’s gonna suck!”

Back in 2003 it was just two guys playing stupid campfire songs and trying to croon imagined amazons. Then it snowballed and picked up speed. Two demos and a dozen songs later the identity of the band was starting to form. In the beginning of 2006 they invited Jesper and Olle to join on guitar and bass guitar. Everyone contributed with their own unique style and a common love of details. The beast they had made was growing up. He would soon see the light of day.
